Our vision is to uplift and empower everyday Americans; to revitalize the People in becoming fearless and confident in their ability to defend themselves. To remove fears and misconceptions of firearms by clarifying and destigmatizing what firearm ownership truly is for everyday men and women. To support the attitude of personal responsibility and to make the awareness of proper safe gun handling common knowledge.

Pistol Packing Mamas Firearms Academy was founded by mother and military wife Elizabeth Handley. Elizabeth maintains her Firearms Instructor Certifications with the Department of Justice and the National Rifle Association. With a passion for teaching firearms education, she has instructed hundreds over 12 years of teaching private lessons and as a Chief Firearms Instructor.

By listening to students' requests, Pistol Packing Mamas Firearms Academy was established to provide ongoing training for continual skills improvement. We are now a growing community of Pistol Packing Mamas in Colorado and California. Although we promote our services to fellow mama bears and women, we welcome people of all backgrounds and genders.
